It has all last fixes:
- DMD error in New Renderer on some tables
- High Score initials entry bug when arrow keys are used as flipper keys
- better BAM menu visibility in VR
- for VR users without positional tracking keyboard or gamepad buttons can be used to move camera (see "Free Cam Options" menu).

Awesome update Rav, thanks.

I was following that for a while...and while there is still far to go...and it may still have some of the limitations of VPX tagged along... being able to use Unity for rendering and table authoring is absolutely a step in the right direction.

For me virtual pinball is great on all platforms.

If this could somehow bring VP into focus to help make this more of the standard for the next major version of VP.... I think the devs, table authors...everyone would be excited to move forward with a more modern VP!

Finally our GPU's will get to be used to their max potential, not just for gameplay, but for real-time 3D authoring!

Would be so awesome if you could help to bring this alive. This would be the thing we all are dreaming of, best of both worlds in one simulation. Cant wait to see all of you guys more often in future.

Did freezy shoot you a message? I think he would be excited to have you on board. Anybody else here is familiar with C# and ready to work on our future?

I can say with accuracy, that freezy would love to have Ravarcade contribute if he was ever interested.

To make it clear... even with this amazing new development...it has a long ways to go still.


Myself, I still plan on updating FP tables to modern BAM standards, and also PinEvent, as there are MANY FP tables not available on VPX...and probably never will... that we can enjoy "today".... and they will look stunning.

Rav,

Just wanted to give some quick feedback on the update.

So far so VERY good with BAM Open VR.

- tables are running super smooth again using OpenComposite instead of SteamVR
- the BAM menu positioning works fantastic in VR. it pops up exactly where you are looking and at the perfect distance.
